has anyone every change out there front tranaxles or could direction me to a DIY?

my drivers side is starting to leak. i'm looking to change out both fronts while I have it jacked up. from looking at the service manual pdf, it looks pretty easier. but I would like draw on the experience of the forum buds before I start the project.
