We've had our 2012 Scion for 3 months and we Use Quick Trip 1st tier gas and were getting 20 MPG over all City and Hiway together. Very poor in my opinion and we put 1000 miles on a trip to Texas and average 25 MPG blowing the door off so very upset on the total average. Any ideas and it had 15,000 when we got it coming on a lease and coming up on it's first oil change since we've had it.

20 mpg is quite bad. 25 mpg seems possible for highway if you're going ~90 or something on the highway. I noticed the mileage drops quite a bit as you go faster than 60-70. The wind matters as well especially if you're on a long drive against the wind. I don't know how you are getting 20 overall though. Are you flying around everywhere? Just to check, you're not using high octane gas, 89, 93 etc are you?
