Which is better? Can you tell me why? I appreciate the info. It's why I started this thread.
I like to learn as much as I can before a purchase and I didn't find much in the way of reviews from a google search.

Python, Clifford and Avital all derive from one main brand, Viper, which is in turn under the DEI umbrella. That said, they all have pretty much the same as far as hardware and most, if not all, offer lifetime warranty. Prices differ based on features, upgradeability (SmartStart), and system types. I'd cut out all the middle stuff and go with a Viper, personally, but Python and Clifford are pretty much identical with the exception of the look of the remotes.
