Default Needing new shocks struts

So I really don't do many things performance wise but my mechanic says I'm needing shocks and most of the time I'm finding performance shocks and struts usually costing way to much for my tight budget. Any place I can find OE shocks struts or aftermarket parts for a comparable price?

The rear probably aren't bad (I've NEVER seen them go bad) and they are OEM/dealer only.

Edit: They are actually available aftermarket now: KYB Part 349035

Go KYB. Not performance per se, but a great shock at cheaper than OEM price.

Any place I can find a good price? EBay amazon any better? The rears are leaking oil and aren't keeping an alignment so the rears do need to be replaced.

You can order a full set off ebay for $285. Or peice it together on Amazon for maybe a little less. Depends on shipping.

That too. Especially if live where it snows.

Does out car share the same struts and shocks as other Toyota's? It's a little disappointing on the lack of options. I'd really like Koni yellow or KYB agx, but no go.
