Default Taillights, not budging

I've tried heat to get the tail lights open, didn't work but sort of distorted them.
I've tried to pry to get them open, chipped a piece off and didn't get them to budge.
I've tried cussing and threatening them as well (happy gilmore style). nothing.
I removed the screw on the back that holds the lens in just to let you know. I don't know what they're made of so be careful if you're going to attempt this. If you do get them open let me know how. I'm pretty good at this sort of thing but not these.

you need to dremel them apart. All scion's tails are the same structure.
DO NOT heat 'em up.

That was going to be my last resort. I've had to do that to Fords. The Classic xBs are simple.
