Default custom rear seats

im thinking of changing out my rear bench seat to bucket seats. anyone done this yet? what vehicle did you pull your seats from? any other suggestions or things i need to know about?

Interested to see what you come up with! Whatever you do, it pays to have some continuity with the front seats.

I saw a guy on instagram that has done it. He used 08 front xb seats in the rear I believe. He also had to build a custom bracket.

There would be 2 ways you could do it: use the stock brackets, but cut them and weld them to make a lower profile bracket. Or by building yourself a custom frame like Willie said. I've also seen the same guy he's talking about on Instagram, if you have one, search up r0cean11 and he has pictures of it all coming together. Just don't expect a full DIY for it.

And whatever you do, DON'T just poke into the floor below the rear seats. The plastic gas tank is directly below the floor.

Thanks guys. Ill look him up and see his work. Im fine with making new brackets or modding a set of stock ones. thanks for the warning about the gas tank! That could have ended up badly. Ill have to look around and see if I can find a set of seats.
