Hi all. I am a current TC owner and am thinking of buying a 2012 XB. I noticed that the custom subwoofer that fits in the side of the trunk area is no longer listed for this model year. If I found one to buy, will it still work and fit ok? I know there are better subs out there. I'm not really an audio guy, just want a little bass and like how this one fits right in without taking up too much room.

Thanks!

Silly question that probably has some funny (and gross) outcomes!
Driving to work this morning, I came across a situation that I am curious about.
The scene: 2 lane 55mph country road.
The traffic: heavy! 1 behind me, 1 in front & 2 oncoming.
The roadkill: possum!
For those of you who are (how do y'all say it?) moar low,
what is the outcome with the roadkill?
I've owned my stock 08 a little over 2 months now. I am trying to figure out the best way to go low! I'm older than most and don't want anything extreme.
I've been leaning toward springs, but not real sure. Then it hit me,
Holysheepshooshoo Batman, If I was "moar low" this morning, I would be cleaning roadkill off of my lip!
What's the low down? :D

So i have an 08 xB with 37k on it, all stock suspension (currently), never modified the drivetrain components, only thing ive done is swapped wheels....

So i have an 08 xB with 37k on it, all stock suspension (currently), never modified the drivetrain components, only thing ive done is swapped wheels. Ive progressively noticed a thud noise coming from the front left wheel area of the car everytime i go over bumps at lower speeds and has got worse as time went on. While getting my oil changed at the local toyota dealership last week, i mentioned the issue to the service advisor and he said they would listen for it when taking the car back to get the oil change. After the oil change was done, service advisor said they heard the noise and scheduled a time to check it out. took it in yesterday morning, he called me back after 2 hours of dropping it off, saying it was a lose tie rod end bolt. On my lunch break at work i went and picked up the car, not entirely believing them, but whatever they did, it isnt making the thud noise anymore! feels alot tighter too. AND, like the title says...they did it for free (i guess toyota changed the warranty policy so i was nervous it wouldnt be covered anymore....)

Anyone else experience this same issue? or heard of this? i know there have been multiple threads about thuds and noises from the front of the car, but never heard this issue before being reported. wondering if im the only one lol Just thought it was strange/weird for a bolt to become lose like that without modifying the drivetrain and only having 37k miles on the car.

Trailer Frame Recommendations?

This is xB related . . . kinda.

One thing I've wanted to do for years (a decade?) is to make a small camper/utility trailer, much like the classic teardrop ones. I've been collecting info sporadically and think I could make one.
I'm thinking of using the "pod" concept and trying to have a couple pods on one trailer base. That way, I can try some basic ideas and not have it all integrated to the trailer if it's too heavy.

What I want to know is if anyone in this rather diverse crowd knows of a good frame trailer I could use as the base of one?
I want light and able to be pulled at 70-80+ mph at 1100 pounds total loaded weight without rupturing the tires or frying the bearings.

Any specific recommendations?
