I had a cvt in a Maxima, I didn't mind it, it takes getting used to, but be careful if you service your own cars I know Nissan claimed they were the only ones allowed to service it due to exclusive very expensive fluids.

I was thinking of getting the direct replacement dry lifetime afe filter, is it worth the one time $50 fee over regular paper filters? Wonder if it makes any difference. I'd love an intake to go with my Borla but not looking to spend a couple hundred yet on a cai.

I've got the afe filter. I think it's worth it. I noticed a bit quicker throttle response.

Great. Thanks. It's not easy to find it seems, but it's on Amazon for around fifty. I have around 15k on car running original filter, I guess it's almost time to be replaced, so maybe I'll try the afe. It's the afe 31-10151 filter.

I wanted to say that I really liked what the did with the styling on the new Corollas. I think they are the first Corolla that I like the looks of They were wise to bring that aesthetic over to the Camry as well.

No garage, no clean car, doh. I saw the car wash by my house was busy this weekend when it was warmer. Great idea I thought, good for them. Then we were coated with an inch of ice and a bunch of salt Sunday night. So much for that.
