you can get something like this they have many sizes here is just a example. i would try this first if you need thicker then this then i would say get your money back or just get the correct offset like a 30-35mm.
Dorman/AutoGrade 5/16 in. thick 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 in. bolt circle 5 lug wheel spacer (711-913) | Disc Brake Wheel Spacer | AutoZone.com

5/16" will be about 10mm

When you say correct offset, do you mean get a different set of wheels with the correct offset? Sorry, I know I'm a 'senior member' but I'm still a newbie with lots of this stuff.

Thanks

My father is on his way to deliver my scion back to me on campus!! While I was fretting over what step to take regarding my rims not fitting...he took it upon himself to hand-sand the insides of the plastic wheel caps down so that they would fit on my front wheels, no spacers necessary! I'm not super happy he did it without asking, but I'm glad it worked!

Pictures to come soon!

Sometimes you have to do stuff like that to make stuff work. Good to hear there was no more money spent just some elbow grease.

Yeah I hope things turned out ok. I can imagine the mixed feelings about it since it's your baby and you just spent a lot on these great wheels, but it's probably good... and probably less headache than the alternatives. You should let TireRack know about it anyway for others.

I await pictures

I got my wheels from Zenetti Wheels and I never had issues with them. I know I found the best!
