Thumbs up POST YOUR 17" Rims Thread

I know what really helped me out when getting my new wheels, was looking at other peoples XB2s on different forums and reading their exact specs.

I figured I'd start one on this forum considering I see alot of "how will these look" type threads. Now, just browse this thread and have a better idea based off of all our own setups and own needs.

17x7.5" Toro 9002
+42 Offset
215/50/r17 tire
Stock suspension

I went with a little beefier tire than most would because I live in PA (potholes galore), but it still turned out good.

Sits a little wider now, less than 1/4" from poking out past the wheel well.

Waiting for the tire pressure light to kick on, but so far it hasn't.

225/50/17 Michelin Energy Saver AS
Stock front / Rear TRD

Did not want to lower the front due to the Kit. Also taller sidewalls for potholes and a cushy ride.

Darn we need some more 17s up here! I was planning to get 17s. I figured 225/45-17 was the way to go on tires for these but understand the others above. ElusiveB, your tire profile looks like what I'm going for. Close to 18s in look, but the comfort, lighter weight, and cheaper tires of 17s.

After rolling the TRD 19's for a while, I scaled back to the OEM 17's. Got these for $425 shipped on eBay brand new (each wheel still in the box, had lugs and center caps). I don't have a full vehicle pic at the moment but here's one of them on my xB:
