Default Brake fluid flush

Has anyone flushed their brake fluid?

I never thought about it until the maintenance light on my daughter's Mini came on saying it was time to do it. After reading up on the web, apparently it is recommended to do every 2-3 years on all vehicles with ABS brakes. I looked at the maintenance schedule for my xB and it never mentions it though.

I'm going to be working on it today or tomorrow replacing a hub assembly and putting my summer tires on. I may flush the brake fluid while I'm at it.

I have a liquid vacuum device and do most of my vehicles every two years. Not a total flush but just change the reservoir. A couple bucks for a pint of fresh fluid and 30 seconds to suck out the old fluid. MN is a land of environmental extremes and a ounce of prevention is worth the piece of mind.
