I have a 2006 xB that has lights down below the headlights. I'm assuming they are fog lights. However, there is no switch (that I can find) to turn them on or off. Any ideas as to where the switch might be?
Here's a DIY on how to install foglights on a first gen xB-- clubxb.com/forums/scion-xb-lighting/37502-diy-oem-fog-lights-installation-1st-gen-xb.html.
I installed my fog lights. I bought a rocker switch that fits into a custom made hole located over the cigarette lighter. The hole comes with a dummy, easy to remove, snap in cover. If your xB came with fog lights then that spot might already have the switch.
Anyone know how to wire aftermarket fog lights so that they come on when the engine is turned on (I installed them in the space for them). My ins company give a small discount for always-on running lights. They presently will only turn on by the rocker switch when the headlights are on.
Do you still have the manual? I feel like you can also check some DIY projects on YT and Google.
