I just bought the vertical running lights for my 08 XB and I took them to my local Toyota/Scion Service Dept. to have them installed. After telling me to bring the car in, twice and then having me wait around for a long time they told me they would charge at least $275. and I got the impression they really didn't want to do the work and were just telling me that to get me out of there.

Since the 08 XB doesn't have daytime running lights I want them to be on when ever the engine is running for safety reasons.

Does anyone know someone who will install them for a reasonable price in the Sacramento area?

Thanks

Just so you guys know that are interested in this product. Oznium.com is going to be coming out with these lights soon and are going to be a complete replacement for the plastic piece and snaps right in compared to these last ones I had posted that stick to the black platic piece in the air vent that you would have to drill a hole in.

I will keep everyone posted. I am hoping that I get picked for the testing of the product. If so I will be able to post some pics for you guy when installed.

I am not sure on pricing yet..!

I am not sure on the release date as well..!

I hope to find out details soon, thank and stay tuned...

I just had the vertical running lights installed and they look great. I had them wired so they are on when ever the key is on because Scion doesn't have day time running lights. They not only look real great, but they are a great safety feature.

So if your significant other doesn't want you to spend the money just say it's for their safety.

The lights cost about $110. and installation at TOS, (Toyotas Only Service) in Sacramento for $135.

Ok guys just recieved the vertical running lights from Oznium. Very nicely built. Backing of these are encased with a rubber gromet that surround the wires exiting the casing for protection from the elements. Great placement of the 20 superflux white leds that run through out the whole lighting structure. As you can see in the pictures these will snap right in. Would suggest removing the front bumper for the install because these snap in from the back. From the looks of these they should fit very flush.

I hope to have these installed by this weekend, hopefully Sunday. If everything works out I should have pictures up by monday with the action shots. But for now here are some quick shots of these bad boys.
