The center covers on my Alloy wheels are peeling on 3 out of 4 tires. THis being the piece covering the lug nuts of course. THey are being replaced but dealer is having installation problems with one of tem. Clips on theback are breaking off when pressure is applied to put them on. Any suggestions on how to compress small springs?? Thanks for the time...

whats up man? i had the same exact problem with my center caps....since i work at the dealer i had the rep come down and check it out and he made a report on them ....the 1st time i mounted the wheels on the car i didnt have a problem putting on the center caps....but when i got the replacements i had a little trouble the similar problem your having....i squeezed where the clips is by hand as much as i could without breaking it and then i kind tilted it into the hole and pushed in slowly ...worked for me just a thought...
