New guy here. Just bought this 2008 Xb a week ago. absolutely love it! Wheels were just added today. I think Ill go with Tanabe NF210 springs. Other mods I already ordered are fogs, RS3200 security, a backup camera since the car came with a nice wide screen head unit.

Just installed Tanabe NF210 springs and KYB Front shocks. Drove the car for an hour on the freeway to see if it would settle:

Stock Height ****** Tanabe Springs
Front L 662mm **** 654mm
Front R 662 mm **** 655mm
Rear L 702mm **** 664mm
Rear R 703mm **** 666mm


Front Drop is .32 inch
Rear Drop is 1.42 inch

107000 miles on the car, I think the oem springs were starting to sag, hence the minimal drop. Car rides a lot smoother, no longer has that stiff bouncy ride.

Can you please provide KYB model numbers? Also does KYB make a similar rear shock for our xBs?

KYB 339205 and 339204. Kyb does not make a rear shock.

The wheels are stock hyundai tiburon 17x7 41 offset with 215/45 17 tires. I didn't want anything bigger coz the heavier weight throws off handling and ride comfort. My stock steel wheels weigh 40.5lbs with tires. These came in at 42lbs. I've seen 18inch wheels weigh in around 50lbs.
The NF210 springs got rid of the 4x4 look and the ride is less bouncy/stiff than stock springs. Weird but I like it!
