Looks like the AC Compressor is indeed located on the passenger's side of the vehicle. But if it was a deer hit that caused the damage, your compressor itself is likely OK. More likely that one of the pressurized AC hoses was either split or jarred loose from one of its fittings, causing the refrigerant to leak out. Better add that to your insurance claim for the deer incident.

Different deductible if you couldn't bring in the deer with you for part of the claim.

Man, I'd have a gun rack loaded wth shotguns in my car if that was the case. Deer might walk away from the accident, but not for long. :devil:
