I unhooked my battery when painting the rear rocker panel on my car and didn't want the battery to die with the door open. After hooking it back up it idled at around 500rpms and would almost die at lights. This sucked for me because Im in a manual and got used to hitting the gas "x"amount to take off but with this new idle I was having to bury it.
I scoured the internet looking for a resolution and SURPRISE! Our cars are techy as bawls. Since the computers in these cars control EVERYTHING there are not fuel/air screws i could find, and the only solution I found was to start the car and just let it sit for 10 minutes all by it self and don't touch anything.
I thought that was a terrible idea but was out of other options so I tried it and sure enough my idle is now back up to 750-1000. May be worth a shot to just unhook the battery for a few minutes and let it sit and reset everything.
