2011 Gauges will fit on 2010?

I think the only thing I really like is the gauges, it looks like it should fit. The dash and gauges looks like they have the same overall dimensions.

The shape should be identical. If they were going to bother making new molds, they would have done much more than a slight bend change.

I'd worry more about electronic and connection compatability. Did Scion change the harness or clips . . .

Yeah thats true! More then likely it will require some modding to get it to work, I doubt it will be a simple plug and go upgrade.
Also, aren't the odometers in the guage cluster? Your mileage wouldn't be accurate.
I would think that the connections would be different because you wouldn't be displaying engine temp. anymore. I haven't had my cluster apart, . . . . yet.

ARSTECHNICA, I agree with you. I like the gauges of the design refresh. I would like to see the telescope steering wheel in person to see if it makes a difference. The rest of the changes I don't care for or say "wow".

You are correct. I tried to change clusters when I traded the '09 for the RS 7.0, so I could have the pink LED's. It was amusing to see that I had 12,000+ miles on a brand new car. I had to change them back. The dealer wasn't amused, but told me that the mileage is not kept in the main computer. Strange, but true...
As I understand, the 2011 instrument panel gives up the temperature guage. Perhaps this is a non-issue to many on this forum, but I can't say I'm comfotrable with it myself (it at least gives me a chance when a coolant hose cracks). From my own perspective, the easily most desirable feature of the 2011 is the telescoping steering column. I'd definitely like to have an upgrade kit to install that in my 2008. But I guess I shouldn't hold my breath :(!
