Ok just saw a pic of the a piller on a car that was body colored is this just a black sticker can I peel it off ?

I have been thinking of yanking my A-pillar sticker off, just haven't done it yet.

I've been debating this one. I may now since I used Black Magic on the black tape today and it now looks streaky.

The reason I have hesitated:
Easy to remove, not nearly as easy to put back on.
So, I am seeing it as a "permanent" mod, even if it technically isn't.

Oh, it looks good both ways (On silver)!
Some others look much better w/o it (like BSP), while most work both ways.

In my opinion:

-it really looks nice w/o the vinyl on dark colors;
-nice w/o front vinyl on light colors;
-nice with all black with all-around tint on light colors

but then again, its just me...

I love my vinyl and won't change it. I love the chopped look.

I just removed mine.
Rather easy. The only "hard" part is the windshield side and how it tucks next to the windshield itself.

I like how it makes the whole thing look more boxy and more like a delivery truck (what I am going after).
For a more "modern" or "hot rod" look, it would be better on.
(I'll post picts in a bit-> gotta take some first.)

Well yeah I want the more "hot rod" chopped look. Didn't think about it being more boxy looking with it off. Oh and you know that the black around the door frames is vinyl as well right? Just I wouldn't go taking it off till you see one for yourself. We had a guy on here with a super white take off all the vinyl and regret it after the fact.

I think thats for the whole vinyl. Just the A-pillar wouldn't be that expensive. Just migt not look right if you don't get it bubble free.

Oh my bad. You quoted tartanjack so I thought you were only talking about the A-pillar vinyl.

Its ok. Any pics of just the A vinyl removed? I found some with the whole window treatment removed but nothing else.

I will have to look around. I have seen just the a-pillar done on a gold and some other but not sure about the blue.

I'm loading a number of picts of my car sans A-pillar black vinyl.

I thought long and hard about it, then decided to go ahead and do it.
It gives a VERY different visual look to the xB. You'll see shortly (Just compare my picts to the one on the forum header or the 08 brochure.
