AEM By-pass valve installation

Installation of AEM By-pass valve completed. After $6800 of engine repairs...and the agrevation of not having the xB to drive for three weeks...the by-pass valve allows me some peace of mind without losing the performance edge of the CAI.

Had to be one serious puddle...

I have driven through torrential rains with my CAI and *knock on wood* nothing has ever happened. Only if the filter itself is submerged are you in trouble...

Oh well, hopefully no more puddles.

SW Florida is known for serious rainfall...thus serious puddles (or as the insurance paperwork shows...flooding.) Yes the filter needs to be submerged, but not for long...as soon as the water is sucked into the cylinders...ooops too late! I'm hoping that the AEM by-pass is the answer...as I was trusting in luck and it let me down.
