Hi :)

im new here. My names K-la (aka sillyz0mbie)
i currently drive a dodge magnum (which i love), but unfortunately my lease is almost up. and obviously, it sucks on gas.
i had to make a quick decision on my next car or else i'd be paying 15 cents a mile if i went over.
i went into my local toyota dealer, test drove an 08 XB, and fell in love :D

and!...myyyyyyyy xb is the first 09 they will be getting!! sadly, it doesnt take alot to make me feel special haha
i also got some pretty sick accessories including the 19' trd rims :naughty: im wicked excited about those babies!

im hoping to make some new friends on here and learn all i need to know about my upcoming car :)

thanks everyone:) i ordered the black sand pearl. my magnum was black as well. my lisence plate is "zombie" so that would only look right on a black car haha.

this 2 week wait is going to be the longest wait of my lifeeeeeee. i cant wait to get it so i can post some pics!!

also, i ordered the under dash and cup illumination. i have a choice of green, red, blue or amber i believe.... i tried searching for pics of what the colors look like but all i came up with was the blue.

im leaning twoards the green, but does anyone have pictures of what the colors look like? or maybe even a suggestion?

I've got the cup illum and hate to say it, but I regret paying 300 bucks for it. Total waste. But then, I don't do alot of nite driving. The back floor boards aren't lit up, that'd have been cool. I like the amber or blue (amber matches the dash lites and the blue matches the lites in the NAV).

The underdash and cup holder illumination will switch between all those colors. So you get all 4 colors. They will install a switch so you can cycle through them. I got that option as well.
ooo even better! now i feel like an idiot but thats ok, im new so i can get away with it hehe

Nautical Blue is VERY nice. Had I gone with an 08, I would have gotten it.
I've seen a couple and the shading depends greatly upon the lighting conditions. In bright light, it is a nice, rich blue. But, when it gets dark, it looks almost black. In certain conditions, it has a purple cast to it.

I have now seen all the colours in person except BSP and Stingray.
The teal looks different than I had expected. It is really bluer than I thought it would be. I like it.

From the shots I've seen of BSP, it should be gorgeous. Just, keep it clean. The "sand pearl" should be slightly better at hiding dirt than a pure black.

When I got my sliver, there was one being swapped between dealers in the Carolinas. I only had to wait one day, but it had 350 miles added in the six days since it had been unloaded and trucked to South Carolina.
You have my sincere empathy on the wait!

Hi sillyzombie, my "pre-XB" car was also a magnum. I really liked the magnum but there's definitely been no regrets. You'll have a lot more fun driving your BSP.

I have to agree with Shancopp. I am not that happy with it either, but since I got it I try to use it. When and if I drive at night. I also wish it would have went to the back floors also.

Once again, welcome to the site. Let us all know when you get the box.

thats awesome to hear!!! i love my magnum im not gonna lie, but it pulls to the right soooo bad when im driving on the highway. i literally have to put pressure on the left side of my wheel or i will curve into the right lane. it stinks. i've tried twice to get the alignment adjusted and its goes right back a couple of days later. i will miss the looks of my maggynum but not the problems!! (or the 65 bucks to fill the tank!!)

If I may ask . . .
What is the Magnum's mileage (as in miles per GALLON)?

Edited: it should have been obvious I meant MPG, rather than the original mph.
