After cleaning under the hood the other day, I noticed that the neg. terminal on the battery has some corrosion on it. Years ago, I would simply remove both terminals, clean them with baking soda solution in a jar and then clean the batt. studs with a term. brush. Now, if I remove a term. on the B, my radio pre-sets will go away along w/ my "startup" screen. Now I'm thinking that there must be a way of doing this without redoing the radio stuff. Any thoughts?

yes there is a adapter that you can use to plug into a cigarett lighter that uses a 9 volt battery to use for just that problem. Now as long as you used the factory harness for your radio this will work. Youcan get them from Harbor Freight or ebay.
