I am trying to find the power outlet/cigarette lighter fuse location. I know it's in the fuse box under the hood, however if anyone has removed their fuse box cover and flipped it over you would notice abbreviations only and no spot marker for the lighter/outlet. I did the foolish thing of checking the owners manual, only states where to find the fuse box.(very weird) So I do the next best thing, i head over to the Toyota/scion dealership I purchased the car from, spoke w/ 5 different people, left there still not knowing and w/ 6 people now confused. I goggled the hell out of every description I could possibly use to try and locate a diagram of/for the 08 fusebox and nothing. If anyone can offer me some help/suggestion please post. Or possibly someone who has had to do the same thing and was able to figure it out. Thanks


BTW. trying to hook up a gps/cell phone charger/ and ipod to aftermarket stereo. Need this outlet to power them.

We blew this fuse not too long ago with a portable air compressor. Hubby searched everywhere...under the hood, in the manual, then he figured out that the fuse is in the panel under the left side of the dash. You have to actually remove the panel to get to it. Now, get ready to stand on your head under the steering wheel and look to the far left under the dash near the driver's door.
