So the car was hit and the mirror cover is gone and there is a big dent on the left fender.

Any cheap way to fix the dent?

As for the side mirror I'm thinking just to buy a new cover.

Thanks! By the way, where do you guys buy Scion parts?

Looks like the fender will need repair and paint. No real way around that. As far as the mirror, try a wrecking yard first. Even if it's not the right color, they can paint it the same time as the fender. Is there any damage to the bumper? If not you are lucky it was the front fender, I got a dent about the same above the rear wheel and a small scrape on the bumper. $2000 fix!!! You might even get lucky and find an xb at the wrecking yard the right color you could get the whole fender and mirror. That would be the cheapest option and save you downtime while your car is in the body shop.

If you want to fix it yourself you can but if you don't plan on doing much body work in the future you may want to price the tools and materials you will need first.

If your at a scrapyard and can find the mirror you may be able to find a fender there too and that will save you money on the actual metal repair.

Unrelated: Your first 2 pics remind me of working in the mirror factory. I made mirrors for the Rav4 so if anyone buys a 2014 and the mirrors work, your welcome. If they don't, it must have been day shift.

One more thing you could try. Find a "Dr. Dent" in your area. He might be able to pop that dent out. He won't be able to paint it, but it will cheaper than fender repair.
Anyhow,good luck.

My front passenger fender is in about the same boat. Talk to some local guys and see what kind of prices get thrown at you. To fix my dent, paint my fender, and touch up all my scratches, a guy told me $250 as long as I helped out. I'm now trying to find them time to do it lol.

I'd get it.

Caps are about $80-100, by themselves.

I'd negotiate harder than that. Drop it to $75, see what the price is for the fender too while your there if they have one. See if you can't work out a deal on both parts. Even if they do drop to $100 you still save $10 but they may drop to $85-$90 if they think you'll get other parts or are just a little good at negotiating.
