I didnt even think of tinted turn signals. That looks very good. Do they just pop out or what. Gotta do mine!!
The front mirror cover just pulls straight off and the turn signal lens has three screws holding it on. The tint really dimmed the light output really bad, so I replaced the OEM LED's to high output white ones so now you can just see them working.

Cool. That sounds easy enough. What bulb is it? I may have a few extra HO LEDs lying around.
I added my Shuriken Battery and ran power distribution. Next is 2 1 farad caps and another circuit breaker and I can start running signal cables, speaker wire and bass knob cables to the trunk.
xbinrochester could you post pics of your mounting locations? for some reason i cant find the right place to have them tucked enough to where you cant see the tubes :/
i put the new grille on and put my stereo in it and did the nav mod.
These are what I used.

WICKED 5 CHIP SUPERFLUX LEDS FOR TURN SIGNALS OR OTHER

And here is the link to the DIY that I used on ScionLife

XD MIRROR TURN SIGNAL LED SWAP! SHOULD WORK ON NEW XB ALSO! - Scionlife.com

Hope that helps!

Thanks!! I have added this mod to my To Do List. LOL
My simple addition of underdash/underseat LED's pales in comparison to everyone else's weekend mods. I added purple LED bars under the dash and seats. I got the ones that either flash with the music or you can set the flash pattern. They must be working because I won first place at a "midnight madness" show last night.
Still trying to smoke my tail lights. I swear to God I just can't seem to unloosen that top bolt or whatever it is. I get the bottom two no problem but I just can't get that top one off so I can pop the light off!
I used a 1/4" ratchet with a 10mm short socket and a universal joint to get mine. Worked like a champ!

Congrats! I was busy last night, but I do want to see these purple lights soon - I should be at the next Bass Pro show.
I'm also thinking about getting the spoiler. I found a site that sells them $169 painted already. Car Spoilers, 2008-2010 Scion xB Factory Style Spoiler
Did you finally get your tail lights off?
No not yet. I need to find someone with that universal joint or go to the store and get the right tools.
there is 1 bolt on the brake lights thats just such a pain in the *** to get off, but once you do it once its easy.

did you see the thread about the spoiler I did on my car? save you some money
Wow.....you all have been busy! I had zero time to work on the xB. Hopefully next weekend. I need to finish installing the interior carbon fiber kit but I need to find/buy more 3M 94 Primer (adhesion promoter) cause the kit manufacterer failed to provide enough and they won't respond to my emails! Geeeeesh!
I finally got around to removing the rear 5.25" stock speakers and putting the 6.5" front stocks in their place.

The OEM Pioneer 6 1/2's actually sound really good in the rear doors! I was going to install Kenwood 1662s 3-ways back there but didn't like the sound. I thought they'd be an upgrade but instead decided to stick with the Pioneer stocks.
The Kenwoods are gonna go into a friend's '99 Civic instead.

I finished up my shoji screen project too. I had lots of fun with resin and fiberglass cloth making this lighting enclosure for the cargo area.
