I'm looking for a good set of rubber floormats for the snow and mud season. Anybody have the WeatherTech floorliners or floormats? I like the design of the floorliners, but they mention a gap next to the dead pedal with manual transmission xBs...not what I want in a set of $160 floormats.

I believe Wave Rider got a set. If there isn't a review somewhere (search using the "search" feature), PM Wave Rider directly.

Found the CustomFit mats. Thought the pattern of little pockets would be hard to keep clean, but like the one piece rear mat. Also noticed the regular WeatherTech mats, but the rear mat is two pieces. I was able to tell myself that if I was going to spend $100 on floormats, it wasn't that much of a leap to go all the way for the $160 floorliners. If I keep the xB for twenty years, that's only eight bucks a year, or about 66 cents a month...but not if they don't fit right.

Thanks for the feedback, keep the comments coming!

Some info that may help you Weather Tech fans....

Went to my Scion dealer today and asked about the WT mats. I ended up getting them for $100+Tax (So like $108) and they will be here tomarrow as WT comes everyday to my dealer. So if your looking at getting some and want to save about $50 on shipping and get them next day Id ask your dealer and see what they can do for you. :)

I also got the cargo net for $35 IDK if I saved anything but that was cheep to me.

Looking forward to a follow-up report after you get them...maybe even a picture or two.

Got my mats in today! The front fit like a glove while the back needs a little trimming under the seat area. Ill post pics when I can.

I know this is several months past the last post, so it's probably OBE. However, I thought I'd comment, as I have bought the WeatherTech digi-fit floormats. For anybody else who might be considering them.

One, they fit the automatic like a glove. I have no idea about the manual.

Two, they are much harder material than I was expecting. They're still flexible, but I was thinking they would be heavier and more like rubber. They are not. But they seem like they will be very durable, stand up to a pounding and long-lasting.

Three, they don't quite fit right with the factory carpet mats in under them, of course, since they're molded specifically for each car. So the OEM mats have to come out. (Now where to store the darn things?)

Four, yes they are expensive. Worth it? Hmmm... that's a personal judgement call. I dunno. I bought them just for the heck of it and am pleased with the fit and how well they trap everything, given their tall sides and thoughtful design.

ive had mine for about a year now-the driver one wasnt a good fit at all-i talked to a rep and they sent me a front set instead of just the one-

so i would recommend them without hesitation -
anyone in the syracuse area can have my spare set

What's the difference between the original set and the second set? Is your xB a stick or an automatic?
