I have 2013 xb and I want to remove my seat levers and paint them! Does anyone know how they come off? Is there some "trick" to getting them off? Suggestions greatly appreciated!

You are in luck, I just had mine all apart to recover the seats. The lever for adjusting the seat back angle slides off but you need to un-clip it from the rear of the lever. It's going to be easiest to remove the seats from the car to get them off. Once the seats are out it's much easier to see how everything comes apart. There are 2-3 hidden screws that hold the side cover panels in place on the seats as well as a clip or two.
