I’m looking to get a roof rack for my xb2 but I don’t know anything about them really. I’m needing it for water sports, cargo carrying. I know that Yakima and Thule's both hold about 165 lbs and Yakima's is round and Thule's is square tubing but that’s about it. I'd like that has a nice looking fairing (kind of aero dynamic, I herd fairings neduce the noise?). Any comments, Ideas or suggestions? Pics would be awesome I couldn’t find many for the 2nd gen. I like the style of the Xterra how it curves up rather then have a gutter mounted foot that sticks straight up but I dont think they have a style like that for the scion do they? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Heres a pic of the xterra, I like the push bar to :) http://www.4x4rockshop.com/ProdImages/arb/xterra_bullbar_3438110.jpg

The two you mentioned were the only ones I know of & the Pathfinder style rack is probably only available as a built in feature w/ the bars that go front to back. Everything else will likely just clamp on to the sides. Anyhow, I just came across a couple different kinds in the Accessories section on optimizescion.com

I was going to delete this. I gave up and called in a favor and found these. http://www.perrycraft.com/roof_racks/Aventura.htm

Im still doing some research on them but i called there customer service and they said they would fit and hold over 200lbs if I added the right access. I just need them to carry my boards. There pretty cheep to under $200 with shipping w.o the cross bars and it only takes them 5 days to get to me. The c.s was really great as well and the racks come in two colors..black or silver.
