Most of the Firestone dealers in the midwest have a lifetime wheel alignment package for under $200. Friend of mine has his Miata with coilovers aligned about 5 times during the summer for different drives and autocrossing.

So i have a 2008 Scion XB. My fiance was driving to work yesterday mourning and all of a sudden the back window shattered. She was on the free way traveling 55 to 60 miles an hour. I went and picked up the vehicle and took it to the dealership and they immediately told me that it wasnt covered under warranty. they told me that a rock or something hit it. I honestly dont think that a rock can hit that back window and shatter it. with the angle of the window and the speed. the car has a rear spoiler that is mainly for looks. but i know that it has to be sending a stream of air down that back end of her car right against the window. the dealer told me that if the door or window flexed at all that the glass would have blown out. but i talked to some people and they claim that it would have created a vacume either way it was hit, from the inside or outside. They also told me that this would have happened the first day we drove it off the light not 22,000 miles later. but i also disagree with this because opening and closing that back door a thousand or so times we have had the car could have shifted something i think. I also think that they might be using a less quality glass or something because i have been reading about a lot of cracked windshields, which we have also had. ive had to replace it once and filled two or three cracks now. I have never got a crack on my truck or anything. what the hell is wrong with this car.
anyone else have a problem with their back window? What do you think i should do? bug the dealer or just get it fixed myself?

thanks

That's good talking. As its name suggests, fog light helps visibility in the fog. Actually these lights are used in car and truck for safe driving. This light is a must have for anyone to drive safely in the night. It can also be helpful to drive against heavy rain, fog or snow.

Because they don't have a group for old guys like me(68 on Monday),I have to smile at all the younger( ahem!) people interested in doing mods don't forget that someday you might want to trade your xB in on something else, relish the thought. Some of the mods will not be legal! In my state,a vehicle must pass state inspections including height and safety specs and lites' brightness. Just in case you haven't thought of it yet.

I traded my '09 xB with several mods and still got a good deal. Oh, and i've over 60 now and have done all the mods you see at the bottom of this post plus a few. Loving the Murasaki!

I've a fair collection of mods on my '08, and I'm pleased with each and every one :)! They're all perfectly legal and I know there's no chance of getting my money back out of them if traded in, but then, I've never traded in a car. I always keep them 'til they die. I've never before modded a car to be just the way I want it, and it's a very pleasurable experience. I enjoyed both the process and the results so much, that I engaged in a number of mods to my older car as well -- very satisfying :)!

If I'm really concerned about trade-in or resale value, I always have the option of rolling back most of the mods to OE, but as mentioned, I keep cars 'til they die, so that gives me the freedom to just enjoy it !
