I am thinking about getting some vent visors for my xB. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but they look like they match the color of your car. Are they painted or are they a smoke/tint finish and it just looks like they match?

How are they installed? I know that there are some that install on the outside with the 3M auto tape and other snap into the window track on the inside.

Two ?'s about both types of visors available.

For the in-channel visors do they not affect the rubber gasket and eventually cause leakage? My husband used to have the in-channel ones installed on his Corolla and I noticed that a little bit of water used to get inside when it rained or we went through the car wash.

For the 3M tape ones, if you should want to take them off or if one should fall off, how would you take the remaining adhesive that is left on the window frame off? I have removed left over adhesive on glass windows with a razor blade and some WD40 but since the window frames are already taped this will not work there.
