First off. I dont know this person or company. Just sharin xB info.

Well as discussed in another thread a other short throw shifter was mentioned. I looked on their site and kt was pretty vague. No prices or phone numbers. Only a email. Sooo. I emailed em.

What I sent:
Got a couple questions about your sts for the gen 2 xB. A bunch of us on a forum want to know it will effect the linkage angle from the shifter end, where it comes through the fire wall. And secondly about the price, how much are you asking for it? Possibility of a group buy discount?

Thanks,
MIKE

I got a reply:

Thanx for the Interest,

Axxtion Short Throw Shifter fits the following:** xA, xB-1, xB-2, TC, Corolla S 2.4, Matrix 2.4

Shortest throw of any production short throw shifter anywhere and lowest price of any short throw shifter made in USA.

The Axxtion Short Throw Shifter is available and will be shipped to you the next working day by Priority Mail.* Axxtion offers the shortest throw and is the least expensive of any USA made Short Throw Shifter.* By changing the pivot point on the transmission shift linkage this billet aluminum shift adapter reduces the throw by a true 54% throw reduction.* The 7075-T6 billet aluminum shift adapter is stronger than the competition.* Pound per pound, 7075-T6 aluminum is stronger than steel and twice as strong as others 6061-T6.* Installation is also a snap taking only 10-15 minutes using simple hand tools and the provided instructions.* The kit being offered is anodized clear and the price shown below includes freight.

The shifter cable is only lifted up by 5mm (about 3/16 of an inch) at the connection between the STS adapter and the shifter arm on the tranny.* The TRD STS needs a second part to lift the cable to relieve strain because the cable is lifted up by 24mm (about 1.00 inch) where the Axxtion does not.

To get your new Axxtion Short Throw Shifter, you can log on to https://www.paypal.com/ and go to the "send money" link.* You can send a payment to me, using my email address ([email protected]) in the amount of $70.00 USD which includes shipping within the US.** $75.00 USD which includes shipping to Canada.* Make sure you include a shipping address, make and model, and any other info you might think I need.* I will ship it to you by US Priority Mail, the next business day.

thanx

This setup uses the factory shifter and knob.* The Axxtion Short Throw Shifter fit under the hood.* Nothing gets installed inside the console so it works with all reverse lockout shifters.

Looks like a pretty decent part. If anyone has this. Pipe up...

drove around the city and had no problems shifting or down shifting. it is alot more notchy and way less travel then the TRD STS. For some people it will take time to get used to but for me i like it and wont be removing it any time soon.
