Hi I just bought a Scion xB 2010 and I want to add a sub that doesn't take too much space. I figured best bet would be a Powered/Amplified sub as I don't need it to be really really LouD! Can anyone point me to a good buy?!..
as of now here are a few that I saw. Please help me choose... btw my Head Unit is the Stock Pioneer for 2010 Xb's

JL stealth box cost a lot. I'm on a 300$ below budget. What Bazooka the oem side mount for xB's 07 up or the tube? Does it sound good?
I've got the side mount and it was the best $169 I have spent on Ebay. Takes about 3-4hrs to install, connects right to the stock harness and great performance for the price. You gotta remove rear seat so the rear side panel can be removed then you run the harness from rear to front. It's not the bass that will be heard a mile before you see the car but it will vibrate your rearview mirror. I bought from bazooka certified auctions from Ebay for $169 shipped. It was on sale but did not come with installation instruction. I was able to put the model# of the bazooka on Google and got a pdf of installation instructions from Bazooka's website.

Thanks xbowner? I will keep that in mind. So 8 inch Bazooka is good enough Sub. I was thinking atleast 10-12inch sub. But if it hits hard enough I will consider the Bazooka. Any other inputs/suggestions?

You have to remember it's a pretty small car, however, if you're seriously into bass, forget the Bazooka right rear unit. It does a great job of filling out the bottom with music (I love mine), but if the bass is your focus, its not going to rattle your world :)!

An alternative to the trunk-mounted Bazooka is a sub hidden under the passenger seat. A number of people have put in 8" subs and one guy even did a 10" sub. No loss of cargo space! You can see what I did for my 8" sub on my website (link in my signature below).

Here you got, It can't get better than this.

The only porblems is that you wont be able to lift the spare tire cargo area cover, but I belive that if you do some fine cutting you'll be able. It's not powered and it doesn't has a speaker. you might end up paying $350.00 for a pretty loud sound system, wich is fair good price n_n

I have an Infinity Basslink II and am very happy with it. I tried a Sound Ordnance 8" and it did not have the range or power I needed. I also had a 10" Phoenix Gold sub in a bandpass enclosure with separate amp (this was in my previous 2 cars). It took up way too much room. Got two kids so I need the room for strollers. The Basslink sounds great and leaves a lot of useable space.
