Last fall I made the stupid mistake of getting paste wax on some of the black trim parts on my 2009 xB. This included the Scion logo strip that sits on top of the rear bumper. It made all the flat black exterior trim look terrible.
I found a product called "Back to Black" made by Mothers - it worked great - a perfect fix to a "bonehead" mistake. It worked on the Scion logo strip and the flat black trim surrounding the windshield.

My only 2 cents is to buff it off as per directions. The 1st time I used it- I ignored that direction on wifey's Element when I did the black trim above the windows. When it rained, it streaked the windows with a rainbow effect. Since then I buff and no issues.
