So the next two things I want to get for my X is new headlights and tail lights. I'd like to get black for both and I'm very interested in headlights like these I found on eBay:

Now I emailed the seller asking them if they are legal or not and they said they are but it mostly depends on state. Now I live in NY, how can I find out if I'm going to be pulled over with these things or not? I do not wish to be pulled over

On those lights, the lens is not black, it's the background that is black, so the light is not filtered at all. I would think that you would be fine with those. I was also looking at similar ones and I also live in NY. Anybody know for sure?????

I would say you would be safe, you can't take my word for it but they have the required amber side reflector and as mentioned before the light is not filtered. I'd get them

I just ordered these and I live in Mass, which is just as hard as NY, so Im hoping its ok. I'll let you know when I get them.

I have yet to post pics of my xB yet, Im waiting on the tail lights to do so! I'll add them once I get them, hopefully by saturday!! :rofl:

here are the tail lights, the headlights should be in my possession on the 26th according to UPS:

Bought the tail lights on ebay too, not problems yet. pretty easy install too once I figured out where all the screws were. I hope the head lights are just as easy.

Those look really good! You'll have to take pics of how they look in the day and night lit up!
