12:30pm today. Jeeps slides into me.

His insurance already called and is sending out an agent for an estimate on Monday. Then setting me up in a rental car.

took an hour from the hit til cops and left. not mad... it happens. Looks like bad damage though. Bumper, tail light, HATCH, frame under hatch. I'll wait to see who they recommend for service.

What someone had insurance? All kidding aside glad that no one was injured....perhaps a new carbon fiber hatch is called for!

I know this sounds stupid but if mine is in an accident I hope its totalled. I love my xB but it will give me an excuse to get a newer one with low milage again hehe.

Hate to say it but if they totaled it I would probly buy a new Xterra. Don't get me wrong but I bought the xB to quickly. It would be a nice 3rd car to have but it doesn't fill my needs as well as I hoped.

Well it depends on when it was totalled. If it happened today, new xB. If it happened in say a few months when the Hyndai Genisis Coup or new Camaro were released, well that would be a tough one. I am stuck on the five year deal with this one as per the wife. My hopes are the new RWD, boxer powered, tC are out at that time.

First estimate came in from MY insurance. $3600

Ouch! I hit someone in the rain once - I didn't see her at all when I was trying to get into a lane. I still think she came out of a side street at the same time I did because of the way we hit. I looked both ways and no one was there and suddenly we're kissing front side bumpers. ??? I'm surprised that my insurance stayed fairly affordable.
