Does anyone know the thickness of new front disc brake pads for the 2nd generation xB? I looked at mine this morning, i'm at 69000 miles, and i have about 3/16 " remaining on each side of the fronts. About time for a brake job?

Typically brakes pads are about 3/8" thick. So I would sya you're about do for a change.

Do yourself a favor and buy some decent ceramic pads when you do. Better performance and no brake dust.
