Hi, I posted this on another section of this forum. I really want to get my point across and see if anyone else has the same issue:

Hi, I am a new owner of a Xb. I ordered the bumper protector which is not a bumper protector, and the corp office is unwilling to change their description on the website. The corp office is not helpful for most things.

I love my car, but Scion Corp sucks.

Buy a Bushwacker for a protector.

I think its that there is a bumper protector the Plastic piece and the Vinyl Applique!!!

Applique is 40 and solid plastic is about 55!!

Plastic piece covers the bumper and goes down over the edge. The applique is the stick on decal!

Am I right ????

I bought what I thought was going to be a rubber bumper protector from trdsparks.com but what I got was a sticker. I do not know if it will help protect the bumper 100% as a more traditional bumper protector...but it will do some justice.

Do I think it was worth $39+shipping.....no......but life goes on.

Wow Iv been looking for a bumper protector for my XB for awhile now, so thanks for the info.

While I dont think that I would go as far as to say Scion Corp. sucks, I do agree in that there OEM "bumper protector" is pretty lammme. Ill be ordering my bushwacker soon.

Check with your dealer for this part number!!!

00016-79006.

This should be the plastic one! I have seen one on a dealership vehicle from Charlotte and I got this number from TRD Sparks so it should be good.

The Applique (Sticker) goes for 40$ and this one goes for around 55$

Unless the one I saw was the bushwhacker because they look the same!!

Bushwacker one is nice....wish I had waited and got that one......if the sticker I had had only cost me a few bucks I would rip it off and start over....but cannot justify throwing $40 down the drain right now.

I bought one from sparks expecting it to be plastic...I remember the term PVC being in there somewhere.I also got it because my bumper often has a Ton of dirt- I thought this would help.

It's actually very skate board griptape like and the black shows dirt more. I'm pretty disappointed.
