It's not. I wish. I'm gonna get the 3M for my roof. That's gonna cost a bit more

Thank you. I'm happy with it. The amount of rock chips you get here in AZ is ridiculous. This might at least protect my hood

Well it still looks great. Can you take a close up photo looking along the pattern? 3M has a slight wave to the pattern, most other companies versions have the pattern in straight lines.

Looks pretty good. You might want to just use this material again for your roof. If the materials are even the slightest bit different it can be super obvious. And for that price you could do a fresh wrap every year and still come out paying less.

In just scared of it ruining my paint. And the seller was trash. Had to send me 3 sheets of it to get te size right. Ridiculous.

A fully-wrapped xB? o_O

Someone at the last meet was charging 200 for a hood or roof and 350 for both. My hood would have cost 60 for 3m. And I hate to sound bad, but my work was waaayyyyy better than his. Thinking about doing a little side gig

I have knifeless tape coming. I'm Going to replace the front overlay with the carbon fiber and then do the sunken in area around my license plate. I watched ALL of the videos by 3mcg1. All master tips from the guy at 3M. I used a blade and left about an inch all the way around and pulled it around

If you got the skills, you may as well do it yourself! Good job!

Driving home from work today, my girl and I started joking about wrapping her whole xB lime green. I think by the end of the commute, it was less of a joke.

Tracking info says my knifeless tape will be here today. Hopefully the rain stays away so I can get out there and get some done

Yeh I wanted to wrap mine completely in flat white. Then I realize what a pita it would be. Still think it would look so nice.
If you do, get Avery supreme wrap vinyl. It is supposed to be more stain resistant than the others. It's also really easy to work with.

Where can you get 3m for 60 dollars for that size?

eBay. 60x48. I've seen 54 for 3m certified on there.

My girl wants to do hers like green. Do the hood and hatch, then roof, then the sides. It'll be interesting. She helped me a lot with mine. Bonding over cars :)
