Yea that was the tricky part. It's hard with the carbon vinyl because you have the lines that will "warp" if you stretch too much. I have a couple waves down on the flat part, but I think they're more noticeable to me than anyone else

well I can tell ya why ppl charge a lot for vinyl wrap that down there is the anwer. we did that last night and the xb hood is not a simple peel the backing stick on an pish out the bubble that was 3hrs right there with my vinyl guy who's been doing this for 10+ yrs where the hood bends and goes flat on the fron is where your issues come into play

The easiest way to avoid the excess material you encounter once you get down to the front face is to stretch the whole piece out sideways while doing the top flat section. That way it keeps the front tighter and you just have to pull it down. Don't be afraid to get a hand under the vinyl to pop creases, you just have to shrink it with a heat gun and it will flatten out again.
