The carpet on my drivers side is looking very worse for wear. I have been looking online for someone who makes a premolded carpet or vinyl that I can remove the old and put in the new.

Anyone do this. Or should I just take it to a place that does interiors

It can be a DIY if you have the time and patience. Many years ago, I replaced my own carpet on my 1972 Corolla. The hardest part is forming the carpet over the floor channels that typically run under the front seats since they are outside bends. Getting the carpet to fit in the footwells is actually pretty easy.

Years later, I carpeted the bed of my 1991 HiLux pickup. For that job I used lots of double-sided adhesive carpet tape.

Most recently I used staples and a hot-glue gun to carpet my subwoofer box.

Oh and of course, take you time. You can always cut it again, but it's a lot harder to add something back in!

I might just do it myself one weekend. Don't know which would be better carpet or vinyl. Really going for a green and black interior. Turning my box into green lantern black and green during the day with green glow at night. If I get the carpet I have only seem like forest green and lime. And haven't seen any green vinyl.
