Ordered double diamond stiching with blue thread. 3 weeks down, 7 to go . I have suede / PVC in mt tundra and LOVE them. Def. Worth the wait.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I was wondering, what is the longest anyone has waited? I am going on almost 3 months now ... think this is too long?

i think they stated wait was 8 - 12 so you should get yours soon, hopefully mine are on the same boat...i ordered my seta little over 8 weeks ago.

Must be on a big boat with a small motor lol cos it sure is taking long and I can't really blame the local seller

I'm hoping its worth the wait and lookin at this thread makes me more anxious haha :biggrin:

Alfundo, maybe you will be luckier cos my wait time has been extended to 15 F****en WEEKS. Too bad there is no alternative around the same price available here in the US. That is just plain ridiculous to me. Did you also order from Bean Garage?

yes i ordered from bean as well, i didnt get an email saying mine were shipped this week so i guess im waiting for the next boat too. i feel ya momo, ive been waiting for over 3 years so a few more weeks isnt that bad...but it is killer to wait so long for something you already paid for.

Omg alfundo.... please tell me that was a typo ... cos if not, we gonna have to take a trip to Japan and :whip: and I'm sure Bean would not mind coming along for giving a bit of :whip: too haha.

Tartan, I actually looked for some used ones for a few days before I decided to go ahead and order them - could not find any or else I would have jumped on them! It would be nice if someone kinda made the same thing here in the States and started selling them - I bet they would lose alot of business cos of their ridiculous wait times and most people prefer to buy local (like me, even more so now).

Occasionally a set becomes available but for the most part used isn't an option when you are ready to buy. I doubt it would be financially feasible for a US company to start making them. Too few xBs on the road and fewer yet willing to spend hundreds on seat covers. The wait time really isn't ridiculous considering you are talking about a custom product made overseas. If were an off the rack item then I would be upset.

A lot of small companies do what they call "batch" orders.They wait 'till they get enough orders to make the set up required (cut templates,stitching,etc.) so that the wait can be long,they will eventually produce them. Also, make sure when ordering them,you get a confirmation #,that way you can inquire as to the status of your order.It might help if they offered express shipping but international costs might be expensive.

I really like the look of these.

i cant wait to get mine in either. i got my set sponsored in full from 2zero6factory.com. mine will look like alfundos. except with green stitching. i cant wait. such a long waiiitttt.
