I just received the April issue of Consumer Reports today in the mail, and it lists the Scion xb as one of the best vehicles for under 25k ! The downside is that CR gives the Scion a low rating for gas mileage(23 miles per gallon). I've always gotten more than 23 mpg on my car (a 5 -speed)and I'm curious how they came up with that particular number. :dontgetit:

I'm averaging about 28MPG babying it to death. I hardly use the AC taking advantage of the sunroof and I enjoy the fresh air more. I can see getting 23MPG or less rather easily with average driving habits and AC use especially in city driving. Oh well, it is spacious!
