Just thought this was interesting so I thought I would share
Great Wall Motors released a car they named coolbear in 2009

The "prototype" was a US-spec Scion xB (first gen).
A reporter at the factory got a shot of one partially disassembled, badges still on (but taped over). He peeled up the tape for a peek . . .

They then made a gen-2 xB-esque nose.
