From everything I've read, unless your car requires higher octane gas it does nothing for your car except cost more money. I looked into it quite a bit when my wife bought here MINI Clubman - it likes premium. That might change if you have a turbo or something. I'm not sure about that.

I normally buy from Arco...it's about $3.21 right now.

Today I decided to buy Mobil to take advantage of the "cleaning agent" additive they supposedly have in their gas...$3.35.


The idle does feel a bit smoother. I hope I can improve on the 22.5 mpg I'm currently getting.
