would a 2011 bumper fit on a 2009? I was looking at one the other dat and thought the two reflector holes would work really well as reverse light holes with a little modification. if any one can give me some insight it would be appreciated
could this work??

Here's a link on this forum posted by guambomb86 who put 2011 tail lights on his pre-2011 xB:

Judging from the small gap between the older bumper and the 2011 tails, it seems the 2011 bumper is a little higher near the taillights than previous. So I'm guessing if you put a 2011 bumper on your pre-2011 box, you'll have a slight interference between the 2011 bumper and your pre-2011 taillights.
Can't tell at this point if the interference would be enough to make you switch out your taillights also, or if you could just modify your new 2011 bumper to fit your existing pre-2011 taillights. Have fun!
