custom sub box enclosures for xB's? (like jl stealthbox or bazooka box style?)

ive tried searching for it...but are there any enclosures that places sell specifically for xb's? i have a 10inch sub and amp id love to put in the box but would like to save trunk space

i really want to beef up the sound system in the box because the factory pioneer system sounds like doo-doo, highs arent terrible, but lows sound like crap, and i have bass set at -1! really like the design of the bazooka box and jl stealthbox, just trying to get some more insight as i do want to add a sub to the equation.

i also have the factory pioneer HU, from what ive read they have a sub output on the back of HU, correct? to adjust the sub output? (correct me if im wrong)

The premium Pioneer HU does have subwoofer outputs. You can also check for a "Subwoofer Level Control" by going through the menu system on the HU to be sure.

There are options for you with enclosures. There is a "SubTub" that fits our cars without using any trunk space. Couple of Links:

nice find! thats as much as that bazooka setup, and that INCLUDES the sub and wiring and everything...i know my sub/amp setup would be alot nicer quality...but makes me re-consider getting that bazooka box...

ya, there was never really that much of an interest. there were like 3 ppl that MIGHT have been interested, thats just too much of a risk to make it for one or two ppl.

Since BXTHTRX08 just joined in Dec 2011, some background: amped performance was trying some months back to see if a few people would be interested in a custom sub box in the cargo area. If enough people were interested he would construct it. He got only a very few nibbles. (That's the G/I custom stealthbox link above).

FYI: some folks (me, for instance) have put a subwoofer in a custom enclosure under their passenger front seat, if you can do wood construction that may be an alternative for you.

so basically i either fork out 200 for just the box and put my stuff in it or buy the bazooka for the same price and sacrifice a little bit of quality. id like to keep the sub in the rear of the car. thank you for your responses guys! appreciate em! looking at Head units and door speakers as well.

I got one used 10" custom sub from ebay for next to nothing. It's make of fiberglass. The 250wmonoblock amp fits like a charm under the rear seat so wiring is super easy. I had to slightly mod the privacy cover but it fits like a charm and sounds great! Here is a pic.
