A few weeks ago, when we were having high winds, I found a shingle on the hood of my car and one by it on the driveway. Carefully picking the shingle up, I found some light scratches on my hood. I took it to a local body shop today and he thought they could be buffed maybe. He took some polishing wax and wiped it down, but decided it was going to have to be repainted. $603....omg. one freekin shingle??? 600 bucks??? I WANT A GARAGE!!!!!!!!!

 I am pretty sure my homeowners insurance would have covered that - if it isn't too late and if you have renters ins or homeowners insurance, you might check it out -

My car goes in to the body shop in 2 days for $4500 worth of damage.. ouch. (i will post pics soon)

Yeah, but a roofer said my roof is suffering more from age than that one night of wind. My homeowners deductable is 500....my auto comprehensive deductable is 100. Going the auto claim route to save 400.
