it is illegal in NY to have the front windows tinted. I am taking the chance, too bright in the car without the front windows tinted. My 4 year old was freaking out because he thought I was tinting the windshield and was nervous that I wouldn't be able to drive. LOL.

I can't mod the way everyone else is modding..but I'll do my best to try to keep up..it's like getting tattooed..You get one and the next thing you know you're covered from head to toe.

it's been raining since I tinted, so pics will be coming up shortly.

Take the backing off and stick it on the car the way you want it. Then get a credit card or something, I use a Starbucks gift card, and rub the edge of it all over the sticker to make sure it sticks. Lastly peel off the top layer and you've got an awesome new decal. :)

Just be sure to only mod into things that you seriously like -- as in fit your vision for the car! Last thing you need is to have mods that others may like but ultimately, you yourself don't really care for :(!

That is good advise.
-The "provisio" would be if one is making a showcar specifically designed to score max points w/in a published point system. Then, one may want to d mods that aren't their personal preference . . .

If your OWN ride and just done for fun, who cares what everyone else likes! If YOU like it, do it.
(Of course . . . I'm the one w/ a red, black, and yellow wool tartan headliner and sear centers -until I get the solid red seat covers I really want.)

oh of course. I've never been on to just do things because everyone else is doing it.

I'm not even upgrading my rims to 17's or higher..I'm sticking with the 16's against every wheel stores attempt to sell me the whole package. I don't want to buy new tires.

Geez, does this ever sound familiar :)!

I'm always on the hunt for interesting mod ideas, unfortunately, as time goes by, I'm finding it more and more difficult to identify mods that genuinely appeal to me :(! Right now I'm stalled, but there's always tomorrow. I recommend careful evaluation, but if it fits and the finances work, definitely go for it :)!

The mods that I'm seeing are absolutely awesome. I love everyones creativity, it's great to see how much people love their vehicles and want to make them stand out.

My car is filled with animal crackers, juice boxes and goldfish crackers. I can't imagine spending money and have my two little monsters destroy everything I worked hard to do.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I know the feeling!

I've now banned many food items from my car (esp. those little orange cheese crackers that ALWAYS make a huge mess) . . .
On my list to get are vinyl/"leatherette" seat covers (want red) precisely b/c of kid remnants. I presently have cloth covers from ebay that I got in a rush b/c of specific actions by my daughter. They are OK, but still pretty porous.

My opinion:
SPECIAL points/composition should be given to kid-haulers @ shows.

(Aside: the character @ originally mean "around," as in "a-round" and has changed to "at" b/c of email and text usage.)

I actually have seat protectors under their car seats to prevent them from staining the seats.

When I first got the car, they were not allowed to eat anything, now I'm letting them eat dry foods...but my little guy is still a major drooler thankfully he's still in a full car seat.
