Are you sure it's the actuator? My driver's side lock stopped working last week. I pulled the door panel off and the cable had just come off. Snapped it back in place and now it works fine.

I would look for salvage yards. You can also find salvage yards on eBay selling parts from totalled cars. Even if you don't see an xB, you could email them and ask.
