Did some brake detailing last weekend and I have a question. Was careless not to notice.

Left side / right side ? Now is the drivers side considered the left or right. ?
From the drivers point of view it's the left, from a mechanics point of view (under the hood) it's the right.
This question pertains to the mounting brackets for the front calipers, one is marked "L" (left), the other "R" (right). Rear mounting brackets don't matter, both are the exact same and are not marked.
Thanx !

In general for all cars, it is the same as the driver.
So:
"Front" nose
"Rear" tailgate
"Right" is the side the Brits, Japanese, Aussies, and Kiwis drive on.
"Left" is the side Americans drive on, as does the vast majority of the world.

So, xBs have the steering wheel on the left, while Rumions and the Rukus (what will the plural be?) have it on the right.

(As I jump between American and British forums, I'm always avoiding "driver side" and "passenger side" terms, which as location-relevant.)

Ruki? I call more than one Lexus "Lexi". Lol :)
If it is "generally" decided to make it quasi-Latin, then that's what would be correct.
Ex. Miata-> actually Old German for "prize"
Plural is given as either Miatas (English ending) or Miatae (Latin, feminine ending)

Tundra (from a term for a environment made basically treeless by short growing season and cold temps)
Plural is ALWAYS "Tundras."  I've never seen anyone use Tundrae . . .

I'm curious what will be done w/ it in the official releases (like brochures) and in the media about the Rukus model.

Edit:
For those interested, here is the Rukus' official site: http://www.toyota.com.au/rukus
